I'm going for Dream Alliance tomorrow. Heard that was a good possibility on the news today - also apparently a possible good tip was Character Building

Good luck if you're betting too! :thumbsup2

last time dh bet on a race he bet on mon mome (means my kid in french) he won £500. which means he wont win tomorrow:rotfl2:
goinjg with 21 - cant buy time - symbolic after my crap year:cloud9:
dh is going with no 1 madison du berlais.

Thats funny, i was looking at the list of horses earlier.

I always go with whatever name takes my fancy.........

Tricky Trickster ;)

I never bet but im usually right..............bet im wrong this time :rotfl:

I have Irish Raptor in our office sweep...and I'll be backing this one too tomorrow because before I'd drawn him in the sweep he's the one I'd said I was putting a couple of quid on, so after drawing him it felt like fate!

I'm also throwing a couple of quid on Ellerslie George, as the only reason I bet on that National, is that it's always around 1 week after my Granddad's anniversary and he was big on his horses, and his name was George. Hence, the horse is a massive outsider, but the significance to me is good :goodvibes

4 Black Apalachi - I've bet on this one

8 Tricky Trickster - DH has got this one in a sweepstake

14 My Will - DH has bet on this one

21 Cant Buy Time - I've got this one in a sweepstake

22 Big Fella Thanks - I've bet on this one

34 Piraya - DH has bet on this one & I've got this one in a sweepstake

I got Snowy Morning in the office sweepstake which I was a bit chuffed about as quite fancy his chances. Got another one that I can't remember the name off of the top of my head but he was 40-1 this morning so kinda a nice 'long shot' too.

Not sure now if I'll bother with a flutter tomorrow as well or on who if I do as for once I'm happy with my sweepstakes, hehe.

Me and jack like to have a bet on the National and a few times he has won! Only small amounts tho!!! Looking forward to today will have to find a little pub to go watch it in.

I've got comply or die in my work sweepstake and have picked dream alliance cause it sounded disneyish to bet on myself! Haha

I'd personally be wary of Charter Building - I've been brought up in this house under the rule "never bet on a grey in the national".

Having said that - there's always a first time...

We've just done out bets, its the only time we place a bet and really push the boat out and have five pounds each lol.. My choices were Character Building, Dream Alliance and Made In Taipan. Ian has gone for Snowy Morning, Tricky Trickster, BackStage, Irish Raptor and King Johns Castle... William Hill then gave us a free £1.00 bet so we went for Piraya!

I'm just looking forward to tomorrow when the police helicopters aren't buzzing around aintree (i live there!!) :lmao:

oh and am going for State of Play :)

:goodvibes

My Dad has put a bet on for DD, she chose Arbor Supreme, she liked his outfit better than the others :lmao:

I like watching the build up of the National but I can't watch the actual race as I hate seeing the horses that fall down, I get worried that they won't get back up.
