What is the Grand Marshall Pre-Parade?
Is that the same as the Candlelight Processional?
Only 5 minutes long?
Is it a celebrity reading the Christmas story?

How can you find out who the celeb is? Does it make it busier?

I was there last week. We actually got to the parade route really late and had to stand behind some very space hogging women. I don;t know if the publish the info on who the gm is going to be that day. It kinda was like a game of post office before I actually saw the sign! Whisper, whisper down the street!!

It's fairly new. I think DL just started doing it this month, maybe last. It is not always a celebrity, but if one is in the park that day and wants to, that's who it will be. If no celebrity, they'll pick a family from the park. They look for people on the parade route about a half hour before the parade. I don't know if they have any criteria or not. But if you see some 'suits' walking around looking at you funny, you might try asking if you can be in the parade.
