Grand Lakes Resort

Has anyone ever stayed at this resort? My sister booked it from RCI for her sons graduation present and she wasn't too crazy about the description or the pictures. Does anyone have any opinions?

If it's the place I'm thinking of it didn't look to go when we drove past it.Where is it located that will tell me if it was the place we drove by.Let me know and then I can be for sure

Sorry its not the greatest place according to reviews and ratings on Timeshare Users Group. A former hotel I believe, older and not exactly kept up well. Is is possible to get any other place?

Thanks for your reply's. She did switch it to another timeshare, and used one of their weeks instead of points. Better safe than sorry, even for 4 boys graduating from high school!

Starwood Sheraton Vista I believe she said.

If you mean Vistana that should be much better as long as they dont get put in the Courts section. Tell her you can go to their website a couple weeks before the stay and fill in the Diamond Checkin request. You can request a certain area, etc. and put in all the info. It shortens up the waiting when you check in.

The 2 newest sections are the Lakes and Cascades. They may like the Cascades as its near the "action" of the resort.
