Grand I Yacht question

We originally planned to do this, and I was able to book the yacht for 2 hours for 18 people at $450/hr, which is due at the time of the sailing. I was also told they can do any type of catering if you're interested in having some snacks or a meal aboard; this is coordinated via the Grand Floridian. HTH!

Seriously?? Can you PM me with the details and options they gave you? I thought this was totally out of the question for us!!

Seriously, the Grand One Yacht will be packed liked sardines with 18 people. We just spent over two hours for our anniversary last month with just the two of us and I really don't think there is space for it. Is there anyway you can see it before hand? I just wouldn't want you to be disappointed or have the wrong expectations. 18 people seems like a lot. Even though there are a few bed rooms, your guests most likely would all be in the common area/deck, living room etc.

Yes, you can have 18 people on it. If you go to the Gf Marina during regular business hours they are happy to let you see it. I was thinking of having a party on there after the wedding, and would be planning on 18 people. The yact is beautiful, and there is lots of space on there! If you want it catered, I believe that you would need to go through the GF private dining to do it. HTH!

OMG I'm SOOOOOOOOOO happy!!! This totally made my day!!!

Is it 90 days in advance to book it?? I think we're gonna have about 14 people for the cruise. Yay!!!!

I wonder how much the food costs! I don't wanna call too early but I'd like to start budgeting for this. Woohooooo!!!!!! :cheer2:

Hiya

I booked this recently for the night of our wedding... It was $450+ tax per hour and I was told it would accomodate up to 18 people HOWEVER having looked at the photographs online of the yacht, I have to say that it looks like it would be a really uncomfortable tight squeeze with any more than a dozen. If you go to http://www.searay.com then click on North America, and then click on Yachts 52'-61', then click on seadan bridge, and that is the same Yacht at the Grand 1... You'll get some idea of the space on the boat then. Any decorations that you might want, or any food and drink is ordered seperately via Private dining at GF. Oh, and it was 90 days out to book... I was frantically trying to get through dead on opening time and it obviously paid off :goodvibes
