Grand Gatherings ?

We have 27 of us going to WDW in November - I would love to hear stories on GG experiences. Which ones are good/bad/worth the $$ etc.

We did the Illuminations Dinner at Epcot and really enjoyed it, the show was kind of corny, but the food was okay--there was plenty of it and something for everyone, even picky eaters! The kids had a blast dancing with the characters, and then getting our photos taken with them. The dessert reception and watching Illuminations was wonderful!

We did one in 2004 and did the Good Morning Breakfast at Tony's Townsquare in MK. I highly recommend it, especially if you have kids with you. They called up to do the Hokey Pokey with Tony and then after you have a private meet and greet with Mickey. They have now added reserved seating for PhilharMagic. We are doing another GG in June and have the breakfast reserved and we are also doing the Safari experience. Hopefully we enjoy that too.
