Grand Floridian Theme Park View

Last NYE we stayed at the Contemporary with a Magic Kingdom view. It was great, we had a bird's eye view of the park, and found our balcony a great spot to catch the fireworks.

My question is, are the rooms at the Grand Floridian equally as nice for that purpose? Is your balcony a nice place to sit and catch the fireworks?

I looked for the Grand Floridian thread but didn't come across it.

We watched the fireworks from our balcony in the main building at GF.

But we noticed that other rooms near us would have their view blocked by the huge palm trees.
