Hello all,

I'm in the beginning stages of planning a family vacation to disney for next christmas. The Grand Floridian has always looked so beautiful to me and I've been dying to stay there. Now I'm finally gonna get my chance! or so I hope :worried:

We'll be traveling with 4 adults and an infant (God willing, Due date march 08!!! First child). Wife and I are exstatic! Anyway I digress...

for the sake of comfort it appears the 1 bedroom suite is going to be our best bet. I priced out the full package through Disney.com but I'm concerned these rooms aren't actually part of the Grand Floridian building. Is this true? Has anyone ever stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and care to clarify or perhaps you have personal knowledge. If someone wouldn't mind showing any pictures I'd be truly grateful.

Also any other suggestions for christmas time in disney? Things I should look out for, must see? I'm very grateful for all help and assistance!

Thank you all,
Shhhh

If you want a suite in the main building, it's a bookable category. There are other suites located in the 5 outer lodge buildings, so you need to be specific when booking. FYI, main building 1-bedroom suites are going to be more expensive than an outer lodge 1-bedroom suite. Both come with club level amenities, but I guess they charge more for the main building, because you don't have to walk outside.

I know you said you did some research, but this site has some more suite descriptions and where they are located, http://www.yourmagicaljourneys.com/Karen/suites.htm#Grand Floridian Resort and I have room layouts on my site if you want to try and match up the codes with the pictures.
