Hi Everyone,

Maybe someone can help me. We want to treat ourselves this year to the Grand Floridian and stay in Concierge this year. We usually stay at The Polynesian lagoon view.

There are apparently (3) types of room choices for concierge

lodge concierge
main bldg. concierge
concierge deluxe

I am a annual pass holder and am waiting for early december discounts to come out.

Can anyone explain the differences aside from price on these 3 types of rooms and their locations and which is best???

Any help would be appreciated.

We stayed at the Sugar Loaf concierge building a couple of years ago. The whole building is concierge. You need your room key to enter the building. The inside is lovely ... a smaller version of the main lobby. The food was excellent, but no alcohol was served. This was not a problem for us, but may be for others.

There are lodge buildg. concierge rooms, which are NOT in the main bldg., and there are main bldg. concierge which ARE in the main bldg., and the deluxe, which are in the main bldg. but much bigger. One thing though; the main bldg concierge sleeps five. The deluxe concierge only sleeps four, even though it is much bigger.

I *think* you might be incorrect about the deluxe concierge rooms sleeping only 4 - I believe they sleep 5 .. at least, they have (legally! LOL) when we've stayed there. There are two types of room configurations for the deluxe conc. rooms - take a look at the GF FAQ here for the layouts.

Official GF Occupancy Limits state that a Concierge Deluxe Room - Main Building sleeps 4 adults maximum plus one child under age three in a crib. Bedding is two queens only. I think *prior* to renovations the bedding was two queens and queen sleeper.

:)
