Grand Floridian Christmas Tree

wanted to take my daughters here for the afternoon tea and just thought won't it be beautiful if it was still decorated for Christmas. Does anyone know when they take down these decorations. Thanks

If I remember correctly they remove the Christmas decorations shortly after New Years. Definately within that first week of January.

Thanks, I guess we won't be seeing it before it's down. We won't be arriving till 12/29. and I wanted to take them towards the end of the vacation. Ohhhhhhhhhhh- Maybe we can just pop in there and have a look before it's down.

Oh, you must pop in when you arrive...even better than the tree is the giant gingerbread house (life size). The whole lobby smells of gingerbread/frosting. It is wonderful!

Definitely stop in to see it - DH and I popped in to check it out on our honeymoon last year. It was definitely stunning - takes your breath away.

We had New Year's breakfast at 1900PF last year and the gingerbread house and Trees are fantastic. I was told they would begin to come down on or around the 3rd. Don't miss them, we are returning this year and will probably do the same thing.

The GF Christmas tree is not to be missed. They also have a life size gingerbread house that's a gift shop. The entire lobby is something to behold...truly magical at Christmas. I hope you and your family can see it.

definately rearrange your trip and go see the GF at the beginning of your trip...It is an awesome experience...

My countdown timer makes it seem like forever to wait, but I am SO looking forward to staying at GF while it's decorated for Christmas
