What do you all think of Grand Floridian Cafe?
I am not on dining plan, and really don't need table service either.
I really enjoyed breakfast at Grand Floridian Cafe a couple years ago. So pretty and peaceful.
Have any of your had the Tuna Nicoise Salad or Cobb Salad there? Please share your experiences, and photos, especially the Tuna Nicoise Salad.
Also, any pictures of the kid's salmon or chicken?

I haven't been for a few years but when we went I got the surf and turf burger and it was just ok. The burger seemed like a frozen patty, not something that was fresh and made right then. I will saw the dessert I had there was one of the best things ever! We got the sampler and everything on it was amazing!

By far our worst breakfast experience was here Dec 2013. Bad food bad service in this case one strike and your out.

Can anyone review the tuna nicoise salad, or have pictures of it, and the kid's salmon or chicken dinner, please?

Ate dinner there twice and had the French Onion Soup and Miso- glazed Salmon both times. LOVED it! I would go back.

We loved our dinner last year. We had the steak and dessert sampler. We didn't have the Tuna Nicoise salad but it did get good reviews on the food blogs

NOTE: The Cafe is on the ground floor overlooking the pool and courtyard. It is airy and light inside, with a sophisticated coffee shop appeal. The food is tasty, with quality well above average, but selections nothing too out of the ordinary. Our service always has been outstanding. Worth jumping to for breakfast or dinner. The lunch menu has changed and now not worth the journey, unless you are already there. We like Onion Soup and The Grand Sandwich, which is close to an open-face club with an interesting Boursin cheese sauce and fried onion straws, which the wife and I like to share as it is so big. For dinner, the Bone-In New York Strip Steak is always tasty; the Shrimp and Grits not so much. By the way, a good place to take young kids to start learning manners as it is seldom very crowded.
