Grand Floridian Cafe?

I am planning our ADRs for our trip in May and was curious about The Grand Floridian Cafe... any opinions on this place? Thank you!

I haven't had lunch or dinner there in a long time but we always try to go to breakfast at least once in our stay at the GFC. If their breakfast is anything as good as lunch/dinner, you have nothing to worry about!

We ate both breakfast & dinner there in Nov. It was a good place to eat. We didn't have to wait long to get seated, the grounds are beautiful and the transportation options to get there are numerous.

Food was good

I made ADR this AM for GFC in March when we go down. My mom selected this resturant based on the menu we found on wdwinfo.com...She was looking forward to getting the Prime Rib. After looking at pictures of the menu I don't see it listed ... I assume that means it is no longer available? We might need to adjust to another resturant, or was the NYC strip steak that great?

Love love love it there!!!!! DH and I had dinner there and it was fantastic! I told my friends to try it on their most recent trip and it ended up being one of their most favorite meals!

We found it a pleasant surprise. It was nicely quiet/calm and the food was very good. It reminds me of the more casual restaurants in many four and five star hotels (Marriotts, Ritz-Carltons, Westins, etc.), good basic food.

You should definitely try it. I've tried breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a really nice relaxing atmosphere and the food is always good.

Also, we were thinking of sitting on the beach after dinner and watching Wishes, and maybe the EWP... can you see both from the beach at the GF? (Sorry if someone already asked/answered that, there are SO many pages to read thru )
