To be honest, we had never heard of this restaurant before, but without an ADR, and wanting a TS meal, when Guest Services offered it, we jumped at it, as we were in the MK and it was getting late.
We took the monorail over and got there about 20 minutes before our ADR, the place was pretty empty, but they did not seat us until exactly our ADR time.
It is a very pretty restaurant and the food was pretty good.
As it was our anniversary trip, we were wearing our buttons, and the waiter brought us complimentary champagne along with our bread to start our meal.
My DH had the Ceasar salad, Yummy
I had a salad ( cant remember the name) with Strawberries, nuts and bleu cheese. OMG it was really good.
The actual menu is very different from the one they showed us at Guest Services, so be careful when relying on Guest Services. The one on AllEars is not up to date either.
My DH and I both wanted the NY Strip, but they were out, so we had the Grilled Sirloin with French Fries and Green Beans instead.
DS had a Cheesburger with French Fries, ( the waiter could not believe he could not find something on the menu he liked.
) This was not on the menu but we were able to order it anyway.
[
We had our desert outside on the Patio so we could watch Wishes.
The chocolate fondu is to die for.
Before dinner our waiter took our picture
and before we left he gave us a card with the picture in it. A very nice keepsake !
This is a very nice, slow paced restaurant, I enjoy eating slow, but my DH and DS are not content to sit and wait 20 minutes between courses.
I would not hesitate to eat here again if I could not get an ADR in the park.
