Haven't eaten at this restaurant in years. As I remember, the breakfast was pretty mediocre. I've recently read some decent reviews. Has anyone eaten there lately? Thanks:)

I haven't been for dinner since the early nineties but my last two breakfasts and lunches were prepared with care -- an excellent eggs Benedict, for example. Although not a restaurant for which you make a special trip, the Cafe is an above average hotel coffee shop when you want a no-fuss meal.

We had dinner there last Nov and it was excellent, both food and service.

I've had breakfast, and lunch there recently (within the past year for lunch, and had breakfast there in May). It was excellent both times. They have 'real' bacon there, unlike the papery bacon everywhere else on property. It was delicious! The Grand Sandwich on the lunch menu is very good. :thumbsup2

Thanks, it's nice to be able to consider this restaurant as an option again!:)

The food is tasty, with quality well above average, but
selections nothing too out of the ordinary. Our service
has been always outstanding. Worth jumping to for
breakfast or lunch.

just had dinner there a couple of nights ago...was excellent. Good food, good service and pleasant decor. Was not very busy so noise level was not loud (a real bonus at a Disney restaurant.) Dessert sampler is wonderful (a "for two" dessert.)

we ate a breakfast and a lunch there last Sept.... breakfast I thought was expensive for the portions that they gave. I just remember it was $9.00 for a pancake....crazy. I wouldn't do it again.

Lunch was outstanding... the food was VERY good and the service was EXCELLENT. :thumbsup2 we would go for lunch again in a second.

We had dinner there in February, at whatever time the first reservation time is. We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, the service and the dining room, and it is a must do on our trip next year :)

We had a really great dinner there last month! ALl the food was wonderful.

Steaks, fish, soup nothing mediocre at all. Definitely going back.

We really like their lunch. It's a great atmosphere. We're going over there right after our private wedding ceremony at the polynesian for lunch and cake!

Are you going to be doing a dining report, Catne?

DH and I ate breakfast there in February while DD did the GF pirate cruise. I had the smoked salmon plate and a VERY AWESOME Bloody Mary. I believe DH had the lobster eggs benedict. We loved it and would definitely go back. (OT, but she had a BLAST on the pirate cruise, BTW.)

Was just in the WORLD at the end of August. DS and I ate there on our second night and it was wonderful. I didn't really look at prices as I was on the meal plan.

My DH still drools about this and it's been almost 2 years!!

We have eaten here at least 4 times and we love it. Grand sandwich is outstanding, as are the salads (had the Cobb one time..:lovestruc), and the steaks are great, too!!
