Grand Floridian: AP RATE First week in December?

My husband and I love visiting WDW during the first few weeks in December. We have stayed at the WL during that time, and loved it! Now I'm thinking for our next December trip that I'd like to try GF.

What AP rate have you gotten for GF during the first couple weeks in December? Please list room type also!

Does your trip include the weekend of the 3-5?

There was no availability at allwhen I called. We were away until 8/27 so missed the first few days.

We are now splitting our stay between the BC and GF. The BC only had water view left for the weekend.

We're staying Nov.28-Dec.2 at the GF, then moving to the WL to make my ILs happy.

Dec. 17-23 GV AP rate $277 including tax

We got $277 includes tax Dec 5-13th, we arrive on the 4th and I called the first day codes were released and there was nothing for the 4th of Dec and I have checked back often with no luck.
I know they also gave me a rate of $362 includes tax for a lodge tower room.

I got 11/27-12/2 GV at $259+tax and 12/2-12/5 LV at $310 + tax. This was through Expedia though. AP rates through Disney weren't available. I spent considerable amount of time on phone with Disney. Problem is Thursday the 2nd and Saturday 11/27. For some reason hotel is sold out. Maybe a wedding who knows. I think I'm lucky I got what I have.

I feel lucky too, Mike. I was blindsided by how hard it was to get a discount at this time of the year.

I have been making dining reservations everyday this week for our trip and a lot of the times and restaurants I want are already gone. Oh well, we're really looking forward to our trip and if it's really crowded we'll just hang around the resorts and take it easy.

Nov.28-Dec.2 GF
Dec.3-5 WL

We have a party of 8 so that may be why it's difficult to get exactly what I want.

Saturday is the last day of the Thanksgiving Crowds. Thursday is a MVMCP night. That probably explains the high occupancy on those days.

POTC: I've been calling about 10:00 am everyday for our PS's. Been pretty lucky - Chef Mickey's 6:10 pm 11/27; Concourse Steakhouse 6:10 pm 11/29. Isn't it fun!

Maybe we'll see you at the GF. I'll be the brunette with a DS10, DD8, and a 2 year old, white headed, little tornado of a son. All 3 of the grandparents will have to tag team him! And they think we invited them along to be nice.

DH and I will be at GF Sugar Loaf from Dec. 9-11. Our original rate was $446 p/n after the AP code, it's now $404. We're really excited. Hope to see you guys there.
