Thank you all for the info and your opinions. Of course, when I found this late last night (the fact that there is a tea at GF, that is), I immediately knew I wanted to do it. But, I held no hope of being able to book it for Nov 9th. I called this morning and the first CM at member services that I got said there was no availability for the 9th or the 10th.
I thanked her for looking and told her I'd be calling 2x a day to see if anything became available. She graciously welcomed me to do so
I called back around 2 pm and they had it! Exactly what I wanted! A table for 5 of us at the earliest seating!!

I grabbed it, made our dinner reservation at Y&BC later than we originally had it for that evening and now we are going to look into the spa at GF for a couple of treatments earlier in the day, as opposed to the spa at SSR (even though most opinions like SSR better). I think it would make much more sense to go to the spa at GF, then do the tea at GF, then head back to AKV for a rest (a rest??? did I just say we'd need a rest after spa treatments and afternoon tea??

what's up with that!?

). Then head over to Y&BC for our 7:30 dinner and top off the evening with some fun at Jellyrolls! Whew

What an awesome day I've got planned (if I do say so myself

).
Thanks again ladies, for taking the time to post your opinions and suggestions.
One more question though....what's the mad hatter?
