she has said from her first visit to Dis she would be going down there to work as soon as she got out of school. Well 17 years and she is starting to line up her ducks, she graduates in June and will start at local jr college in Aug. my question is what will she need to do next, her plan is to start at local collage then transfer down to go to school down there and work at Disney. So what does she need to do next to get her foot in the door at Disney?

She actually has a couple of different options depending on what she wants to do... If she wants to just work part time in the park, then that is a simple application process. If she wants to be a character, then she needs to plan on attending an audition.

However, I would suggest participating in the Disney College Program (there are entire discussions based on the CP in other areas of the college forum). She could enroll in the program while she is at the junior college (she just needs one completed semester) in order to get her foot in the door. Then, when she moves closer, she would already have a tie into the company and she would have a better chance at getting some part-time work - or even some internships.
