Grand Cayman excursions?

Thought snorkling would be the best in GC. Which tour provides the best opportunity? We are not opposed to the underwater tours as only DH would be snorkling! Thinking fo GC Island tour w/stingray city- Are they worth the money? Thanks! Only 3 weeks from today!!

We did the 3 in 1 excursion in GC--Bus tour of GC which stopped at the turtle farm (neat!!) and a town called Hell (could of bypassed this but does have a neat story and cool rock formations which gave it it's name). And then as a finale we went to stingray city. It seemed like a long day and we are 2 adults. If you have kids--I'd think about doing just the stingray city--which was a blast!! A lot of fun.

We did not take any of DCL's excursions as you can do much better on your own.

I am not a snorkler but DH and DD are, and they said the snorkeling was best on COZ. We went to Chankanaab Nat. Park, entry fees were $10US pp and the cab fare was about $10US each way.

On GC, we used Red Sail Sports to do a half day snorkel/sail. It went to Stingray city and then to the reef. It was fantastic, and very well priced. www.redsailcayman.com

If you Google "grand cayman snorkel" you'll get a lot of info.

Definitely book it on your own. There are many good operators out there. I would suggest sailing there rather than a motor boat. Here are a list of operators you might want to check out.

We used shoretrips.com to book our Cozumel Dolpin Swim and Grand Cayman horseback riding and Stingray City tours. Very pleased with them and will report more when we return in August!
