Grand Cayman - the only excursion that looks good here is the Pirate Encounter - does anyone know if its any good?

If its not - does anyone have any great suggestion or should I just hit the beach and relax?

We swam with stingrays and did the island tour to the turtle farm, rum cake factory, hell, and a quick stop at 7 mile beach. We had a great time and went with a small tour company so actually had our land tour all to ourselves! We didn't realize that the turtle farm also has two places to snorkel. One with salt water and one with fresh water. We didn't do that, but would like to the next time we sail.:)

Hi

I know the tours well, as I worked them for a number of years and Stingray City is a must if you are a little adventurous. The pirate experience is very brief and is really just a boat ride on a themed boat!! Stay away from Island Tours, as they are hot and stuffy, not much to see around the Island except for the Turtle farm. This you can do by Taxi. If you have time, find the Italian restaurant called "Casanova's" for the best Italian cooking I have had in many parts of the world!
