Grand Californian--Regular Room Availabilty

Does anyone know when DVC will actually start making regular hotel rooms available at the Grand Californian on points? Have seen that the availability will be "in the spring."

At the annual meeting in December they said the rooms would be available beginning in September.

I got a call today from DVC, I have a new guide. We were talking and I mentioned about the hotel rooms. She said the points chart will be released 4/1 and booking will start then. She said she hasn't seen the point chart but expects it to be high.

It was high before the villas were created so I am sure it will be again. It was similar to the points chart for Grand Floridian. Plus I am sure this will be reservation points like last time, so folks have to watch booking that because you can not change the points back to "vacation" points if a villa becomes available
