Grand Californian Club Level + Cabana Rental Question

I plan on staying at the Grand Californian club level next year and renting a pool cabana on my first day of arrival. I plan to arrive when the pool opens.
Two questions, really.
How fast do the cabana's book up?
Will I have club access when I arrive/check in if it's the morning of?

They release 60 days out

I’ve heard of people calling at midnight 60 days out and getting a cabana
Also I’ve heard of people having to wait until 6am

Only 6 cabanas

You have access to the Veranda (club level lounge) on check-in day, when the lounge opens at 6:30AM (6:00AM??)

We booked a cabana for this past weekend with no issues. I called around 6am, and the CM was unsure if they’d been released yet. They had, so we easily grabbed one. Just an fyi that for the full day cabana rental, the hours of usage are 9:30am-6pm.
