Oh, and I got this one right, so I'm on my way to that slushy!

Okay another Future World Question:

In Ellen's Energy Adventure, what is Ellen's first correct response when playing Jeopardy?

a)"My name is Ellen."
b) "Is this a nightmare, or what?"
c) "Who do you think you are, Einstein?"
d) "Hey, aren't you Alex Trebek?"

hey, no fair - i didn't know you'd even asked the SE question. but i can't answer it now because i've already seen the answer. that's what i get for only checking on TRs that have an updated title. i wish i had time to read all the chatter but life just gets in the way!!!! :rotfl:

i've never ridden ellen's ride so i'm gonna guess C.

normally i am already asleep at this point, so i will guess number B or wait letter B..the second one please.

i love that ride, but always get knocked out, it is fun to ride in october when the parks are dead, and you can lay down in a seat all yourself.

Well, I've heard this ride is very boring so I haven't ever ridden it, can't ever get all I want into Epcot days.
And even though C and D totally sound like things Ellen would say. Since you said answer to first question, I'm picking B, but it's a complete guess.:confused3

I'm guessing A, but I haven't been on this ride in like 7 years! It's really funny in the beginning with Ellen, but it's just too long!!

sounds like someone needs to pay attention better.

it's not that i don't pay attention.....it's that i have a bad habit of not reading TRs unless they've updated their title. i'm subbed to too many and i can't read all the chatter in all of them! :rotfl: oh, how i wish i didn't have to work and could just sit around and read TRs all day. i wonder if there's a job where i could do that?????? :surfweb: :lmao:

I'm sorry Dawn! I tend to do that sometimes, too - unless the "chatter people" are really fun - then I don't want to miss out! I realized I had forgotten to update the title the night before, but I couldn't get the stupid computer to load the edit page, and I fell asleep with the computer in my lap!:rotfl2:

I know! I like to plan going on that ride for when I'll need a little nap! I just hope I don't start snoring!:lmao:

I like it, but I think it's because of my first impression - I thought we were at this boring educational movie, and then the seats started moving - WHOA! It doesn't take much to entertain me!:hippie:

I'm guessing A, but I haven't been on this ride in like 7 years! It's really funny in the beginning with Ellen, but it's just too long!!

That's why I like it - NAPPIE TIME! (I am a grandma, you know!)

Okay another Future World Question:

Tammie - no fair! I've never rode this! I am gessing B though.

It's closed now, I don't know if it will open again. If it does, you should try it once. Air cond, dark, Bill Nye the science guy - Alex Trebek, I mean what more could you want? :cool1: There is some pretty okay "animaltronics" in the middle, and then you want to be off, but they KEEP TALKING!!!!

Somebody at Disney probably does!:thumbsup2 Wouldn't that be nice! I only work 15 hrs/wk, but those grandbabies keep me running right now.

I have one one of those... just dont tell my boss LMAO:lmao:

The entertainment factor is definately not there - it is supposed to be educational! A science lesson. I guess if you take them out of school, you could get credit for it!:thumbsup2 When you ride through the dinosaurs, you actually smell the "old."

My first experience at WDW was so amazing to me - this is what I looked like:  I had been to DL, but it is so much smaller and it was then just like MK, so not alot of variety. I really liked this ride the first time, but I think it was the whole trip that was amazing me! We only went to 3 parks in 10 days, too!:lmao: We did MK, Epcot and BB twice! We went as guests of Jim's uncle, and stayed at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress concierge level. Me:  The pools were amazing, they have their own beach, we went on a bike ride in their "jungle" looking for gators - didn't feel like we were missing out on anything! DHS was only a backlot tour at that time, so they didn't want to visit it, and AK wasn't open yet. 1997.

Thanks for letting me re-live the memory! It took me right back to how I felt, and reminds me of how blessed I feel to be able to go back every couple of years now! At the time, I told Jim's uncle that it was a once in a lifetime trip for us, and now thanks to DVC it wasn't!:thumbsup2

WHOO HOO! I FOUND PONCHOS! Someone mentioned the camping dept at Walmart - we found only 4 left! We got them for .88 each! I told Jim everyone in town must be going to WDW!:rotfl2: (most people here wouldn't even consider it - even if they can afford it, they just don't know what they are missing)

Now I need to figure out how to set the Garmin to get us where we need to go. I was going to try to download some program on Mousesavers.com, but I really think if we have the addresses, we can get close enough - it's not like we haven't been there before.

Does anyone have AAA? I was thinking about buying just to get the "priority parking" they have. I mean, after walking all day, it would be nice to have your car front row, right?

OOPS! Sorry Lorrie, I totally missed your quote when I started replying - I got caught up in Dawn and Dan's argument!:) See above - try it once!

I'll be back later today with the answer, we'll see if Cammie checks in! I'm trying to wait for everyone, but I'll need to be sure I updat the title - thanks Dawn.

i'm telling ya, this is the way to go! so when it rains, just put on the ponchos and keep going!!!! and be sure to have some ziploc bags with you in case you want to save your used ponchos for later. it really is easier to just throw them in a ziploc bag and keep from getting everything else in your bag wet!

Thanks! I didn't think about that - just knew I didn't want to wear them all drippy in the car or restaurants!:thumbsup2
