I am look for a cookie recipe. You make the toffee candy and pour it over graham crackers. Does anyone out there have it?

This one isn't over graham crackers, but it is similar and it's sooo good.

HOMEMADE TWIX BARS

Line a 9x13 inch pan with Club Crackers (Keebler--green box)

Boil the following together for 5 minutes:

1 cup crushed graham crackers
1/2 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup milk

Pour boiled mixture over crackers. Add another layer of crackers.

"Frosting": Melt together 2/3 cup peanut butter and 1 cup chocolate chips. Spread on bars, chill until set.

I cut them into "bars" using the crackers as a guide. Made these on my Christmas cookie trays and got rave reviews!

Enjoy-

Here is one that I am sure you could substitute graham crackers into....I have not tried doing that myself but a relative has.

Pine Bark

Cover a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Line the pan with 1 layer of saltine crackers.
Melt 2 sticks of butter and 1 cup of brown sugar then let it boil for
for 3 minutes. Stir it constantly.
Pour this over the crackers.
Bake for 5 min. in a 400 degree oven.
Pour 12 ounces of semi sweet chocolate morsels over it.
Let it sit for a few seconds. When the morsels begin to melt,
spread them evenly with a spatula or wooden spoon over the top.
Let this cool. Then place it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, it will be very hard. Break it into peices (size is optional) and keep it in a container in the fridge.

This is a great and easy recipe. I tried it this Christmas and it was a hit. It stays good for a while too......I think that it would make a nice and easy little gift for someone maybe in a decorative container.

Good Luck,
Mowsearz

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for but if it isn't you should still try them....they are to die for!!!!!!!!

1 box graham crackers
2 sticks butter
1/4 cup pecans
1/2 cup sugar

Break graham crackers in strips and layer in pan. In sauce pan mix sugar, butter and pecans and bring to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes stirring constantly. WHILE HOT pour over graham cracker and bake in oven at 300 for 10 minutes. Let cool for 5 minutes. They will harden. Roll in powdered sugar.

Yum. These sound so good. I'm sure there are no calories, right?

This does not have graham crackers in it either, but here goes:

Toffy Bars

1 1/2 sticks butter softened
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg yolk
1 cup flour
1, 12 oz. pkg chocolate chips

Mix first 4 ingredients. Dough will be heavy. Spread evenly into a greased 9 x 12 pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Place chips on top and return to oven until chips are softened so as to spread like frosting. Cool. Cut. Enjoy!

My MIL makes the ones you are asking for and they are great!! I will try to get it from her!

Toffee bars...

15 graham crackers
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 sticks butter
1 c. chocolate chips
1/4 c. chopped nuts

Line 9 x 13 inch sheet cake pan with foil. Then spray generously with Pam. Line pan with graham crackers.

In saucepan, put sugar and butter and let boil. Add nuts. Remove from heat and pour over crackers. Bake for 5 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove from oven and cover with chocolate chips. As chips soften, spread over crackers with back of spoon, covering crackers completely. Chill for 30 minutes or until chocolate is set. Store in refrigerator. Cut when cool.

All of these sound so good! You guys are going to ruin my waistline. LOL
