Morning! Sitting @ DD's waiting for the cable guy. Thank goodness for my IPhone. Had another fabulous day @ work yesterday. It's such a mess all the time now. The patients are great but we are always so busy. Plus a slow & disorganized computer system, more tests & protocols on every baby & sicker moms & babies don't help matters. We have had so many nurses leave & not be replaced either. It was almost 9 hours into my 12 hour shift before I got any kind of break or even anything to drink yesterday. Only 11 more years of this fun!!! But at least I get to sit around for a few hours this morning!

I'm just thinking of shutting down. Thank God It's Friday night....11.30 pm. And I'm heading out to meet friends for breakfast tomorrow.

But I think I overdid things a little at work today. Been coughing up a storm.

No, he's actually already here. But it will take close to 8 hours to get everything installed. Dd might actually be home before he gets finished. I hope he leaves to take a lunch break. I'm always uncomfortable eating or using the rest room while there are workers around.

Thanks. You're right. I was still confused when Dave got back with me, so I called Disney. The suite is inside the hotel, not the villas. The CM did not understand why the room showed with tickets but not without tickets. She did say that they do not always post all of the suites online and suggested I always call in the future if I do not see availibility for something online.

Then, she offered to sell it to me for almost $5200 for the four nights I need. I kindly said no thank you. When DH got home from work, I told him that we ARE waiting until we are DVC owners before we stay at VGC or Grand Californian for that matter. Four nights there is only a fourth of the initial investment. After what we spent at the GF in December and that, we'd be almost half way there.

That is the price for a suite, but regular rooms usually run about $350, but you're right why spend 1/4 of what your buy in price would be.

We're back at the Dr's office for a dressing change. She's really scared but just now started to let that on to me.

I have been checking everyday for months, because I am hoping for a pin, a discount or some sort of prayer. The price has not dropped below $485 a night (Weds-Sat) in a standard room. Paradise Pier has not dropped below $305, and the Disneyland Hotel has not dropped below $400. I will most likely stay off site, because I do not feel like any of those prices are worth it. I will not even spend $485 a night for a regular room, so the $5000+ for the suite is completely out of the question.

Not sure why my quote of yours did not pop up here, but I wanted to say I hope today goes well for you. Sorry you're so exhausted, but I am glad you're almost done. There is no way I would spend $5000+ even if I could afford it. If I had that kind of money for four nights, I would look into DVC resales.

I did, thanks. Had the kids over & did burgers on the grill & a yummy cake from a really good bakery. Got some Old Country Roses mugs that I really wanted & a pretty flowery purse for the summer. Of course, I had picked them out & told DH exactly where to shop. No sense leaving these things to chance!!

I am sorry Fran is having such a hard time right now, but I am glad she is finally opening up to you about it. She probably did not want to worry you with her concerns, but who would be more understanding than your partner. Hopefully, she feels better physically and emotionally soon. I will keep praying for her recovery and pray for both of you on your emotional well being.

Well that might explain her grouchiness sometimes. She must be getting discouraged. It is very hard to be in pain & not healing for so long. I hope she sees some positive direction today.
