GPS Coordinates

We are headed out on a Western 7 day cruise on April 24th. I got my Dh a GPS for Valentines Days. (How romantic, huh. lol) Anyway he would really like to know the coordinates of all our ports of call. Does anyone know them? Or where I can get them? Thanks so much

As near as I can tell:

Key West: 24° 30' N, 81° 50' W

Georgetown, Grand Cayman: 19° 20' N, 81° 23' W

Cozumel: 20° 31' N, 86° 58' W

Gorda (Castaway) Cay: 26° 6' N, 77° 30' W

(coordinates are not to be used for Navigational purposes....)

If he has a GPS and likes exploring, he should look into geo-caching! My husband does this, and our sons and I go along sometimes; it is a lot of fun. Basically, people set up little hidden caches (in a rubbermaid container or similar) that have inexpensive doo-dads in them; they then go to a website and register the coordinates. Others get the coordinates from the website and go "treasure hunting;" when you find the cache, you take something out, put in something new, and record it on the website. The locations range from the obscure and challenging to suburban parks to urban sites...and I am sure there are some at sites visited by DCL It doesn't necessarily require great stamina to do this, and it is easy to do; there are several variations from this basic model, too.

I believe I once read about a cache or two on Castaway Cay. This was a couple of years ago, I think, so I don't remember the details. Perhaps the website has some more info.

I think there are at least 3, though it is possible some are virtual caches (no actual cache, but a landmark of some sort). Dh already has his eye on these!
