Looks like Mr Ethics has a little problem. He has informed senior officials that he was involved a prostitution ring. He is supposed to have a statement soon. What a hypocrite.

Wow. Well, I, for one, will not be sorry to see him forced out in shame. He scammed every NY voter by running on a “change begins on day one” platform and promptly proceeded to follow the same “tax and spend, and bill it to the taxpayers” curriculum that Pataki perfected. He’s been a bigger disappointment than Pataki, and that’s something I thought would have been impossible.

Now, if they could only figure out how to embroil Sheldon Silver in the same scandal!

He ran as the guardian of ethics and has had a number of ethical problems in his first year. His approval ratings in NY are very low. He is proving to be very hypocritical and quite foolish. Anyone that made as many enemies as he has had to know his every move was going to be watched.

I don't know anything about this situation, so I'll just express my sadness for his family and hope that he does do the honorable thing and resign.

Have to say, I'm disappointed. I read the conservative thread, and they were all saying how adamantly we nasty liberals would defend Spitzer, and here I see nothing but either condemnation or, at most, sympathy for his family. How are you guys going to get the conservatives all riled up if you don't act like they say you should?
