Gourmet hot dogs now available at the Tomorrowland Lunching Pad

Is Disney using the word "gourmet" to describe these? Because they don't look all that gourmet.

I'm assuming they're still using the default Disney hot dogs which are mostly chicken.

I have no idea! Good question! :confused3 I bet you're right that they're still using the standard chicken/beef mix hot dogs.

They also look small, like "mini" hot dogs. The picture shows 2, is that what you get or is it normal size....I wonder.

The reuben might not be to bad. But don't think I would like the other 2.

Hmm maybe I've been in Liberia too long, because those look good to me! :thumbsup2

I think the Reuben one sounds strangely good! Thanks for the info, will definitely be checking this out.

Looks to me like they're just cut in half

I haven't eaten a Hot Dog at WDW since they removed the Hot Dog wagon from Epcot near the entreance to World Showcase that had the foot long Beef Hot Dogs, that was the only place I'd eat them on Property. If they aren't all Beef I can't eat them. I also don't care for the fatter ones they were serving everywhere else.

I miss those, too. And the all-beef hot dogs in general. There was nothing like a delicious Casey's all-beef hot dog right before the parade.

If done right, taco hot dogs can be soooo yummy.

If done wrong, taco hot dogs can be horribly disgusting.

I'm kind of curious to find out what end of the sepctrum Disney's taco dogs are going to fall into.

I always go for the skinny hot dogs too......not sure exactly why I like them but I do. Don't care how hungry I am I won't bite into one of those ooky pudgy dogs.

The $8.00 *Gourmet* dogs sound goofy to me.
Chili on a dog = gourmet not-so-much.
Caviar on a dog = gourmet.

LOL LOL

This is wrong on so many levels - hot dogs and pizza are both things that Disney doesn't have a clue about!

While they don't sound appealing to me at all (ignore the fact that I'm a vegetarian) they would sound great to my son. He is all about putting "strange" or different things on his hot dogs. Could be a good place to stop for him.

It's $1 for the dog, and $7 for the word "gourmet."

:lmao:

I remember when HS first opened, I guess I should call it MGM...but we had hotdogs and chips from a side cart. Oh they were soooooooo good and cheap! My mom mentioned these a few months ago when we were planning our upcoming trip. I told her we might find a hotdog in the park again but I can bet it won't be cheap.

She might be happy with the taco dog.

Thanks for sharing, but I think I will stick with Casey's...
