So this morning as I was getting ready to send DS off to school, I had the TV on and of course, they were talking about the election.

DS points to the TV.
DS: That's Bark Obama!
Me: Yes that is Barack Obama.
I grabbed the remote and paused it (thank you TivO! ).
Me: What do you think Barack Obama is going to do?
DS: He's gonna solve a problem!
Me: He's going to try and solve a lot of problems.
DS: Hessa wearin a shirt anna coat anna tie.
Me: He sure is.
DS: Hessa smilin too.
Me: He smiles a lot doesn't he?
DS: Yup! Hessa nice man.
Me: Um..yes.

I had a boss once who believed that if he knew he was walking into a bad day, to put on a crisp white shirt and a tie. It had to be professionally-pressed stiff, not some home-ironing job.

We'd ask him about that. And he'd tell us that the shirt made everything better. It was kinda funny.
