Here are a few updated pictures of Stubby Stevie. He's growing so dang fast.

He LOVES to watch tv. It is hilarious to see him when I turn it on in the morning. Right now his favorite seems to be the Today Show. I think he likes Meredith.

He is a little monster to say the least. I have put pet tape on my furniture because he has decided that the proper way to get up there is to CLIMB! I about had a fit. I found this clear double sided tape made for furniture so right now I am using that and hoping that he grows out of this phase.

Signing onto your PTR! Your plans look great and I can't wait to hear more! I would do DTD on the last day-- that would be my vote! It seems more relaxing than the other two options. Last year we had to make a mad dash from AK to get to the airport-- I am sure that it would be "easier" to leave DTD than a park! Less emotional attachment or something!

Thanks. I finally went and had it done though. I could not stand it any longer. My sister came to sit with Joe so that I could get it done.

Hello, and . It's nice to have you! I do believe that DTD will be where we end up. It will probably end up being the rest of the family's decision because I can never decide what to do on our last day.

Thanks Kathy. Joe is doing better with each day. Stevie is a pain in the butt but we love him. His new thing....climbing up my leg with his claws! He is fearless and right now he is afraid of Joe's cane so we're taking advantage of it by making sure that it is visible to him ... we set it up against a wall or something and when he is really bad...like he has been climbing my curtains, I bang it on the floor. Other than that, he is FEARLESS!

It's amazing to me how little planning people do when they go to Disney. I think what amazes me the most is that they think that they can see it all in a DAY per park.

Most of the time I try and see Spectro and Wishes on the same night but that's hard to do sometimes!

I hope that we can meet up and say hello. We're getting closer to our trip dates so I'm anxious to see what our schedules look like and if we will be able to meet in person.

Maya is wonderful. Joe and I can't wait to go back!

The CM was very convincing that they are not letting party goers in early this year. She said that this year it will be different and they do not intend to let people in before 7.

Life Update

It seems that Joe is healing well from his surgery. We go back to the doctor on Tuesday to get an update. He seems to be walking better and we are hoping that this surgery will provide some relief. For now, we still have the handicap pass to take with us to Disney in September. Not sure if we will need it, but we have it.

We were suppose to go to our friends house for their annual 4th of July party, but it's an hour away and Joe's not ready for that car ride yet. He thinks he is but I don't think so.

Disney Binder Update

I spent some time getting my binder in shape. This weekend so far I have:

- Finished printing all of my tip envelopes - both Mousekeeping and TS meals

- Estimated the amount of tip money that we will need for each and filled them -- did not seal them though in the event that the amount differs once we get there.

- Printed updated daily itinerary sheets

- Laminated the rest of my CM thank you cards and put them inside their respective envelopes

- Completed my Excel spreadsheet of ADR confirmation numbers and prepared that for laminating


Disney DVD's

I got the DVD set called The Secrets, Stories and Magic Behind the Scenes - Disney Parks - Where Dreams Come True.

We really wanted this set in HD but I could not find it. This one was a bargain on Amazon - new - $23 bucks (or something like that). I watched two of the six DVD's yesterday and plan to watch the rest later. I'm so glad that we got this. It really puts me in the mood for our trip -- not that I need any help or anything.

Wow, sounds like your planning is nearly almost done @thumbsup2 I might steal your idea and try and work out our tips. How do you do it?

To determine what our trips, or approximate tips will be, I first took a look at all of the menus. I figured out what we would probably get (and most of the time I end up being right), and then figured what the total will be (or close to it). I then put 20% in an envelope. It's really easy for the buffets with the set price. This works out well for us. I've done it for the last few years and have come really close. It helps in planning our budget for each trip. I just wait until the very last minute to seal the envelopes. The CM's have commented on them and I had one tell me that she was planning to take it home because she thought it was cute.
