Gotta love bounceback! 10th ann. & family vaca PTR-9/201o-WE'RE BACK!

Love the pics! I want to go for Halloween. Last year I was at DLR for Halloween and the decorations were adorable. I love your pics of MNSSHP though and want to do that someday! Do they change any of the rides at all? I know at DLR they made some of them "spooky" and such.

Thanks. :goodvibes I love MNSSHP. I don't recall them making any real changes to the rides at all. It's amazing though the transformation they make with decorations and such while there are still people in the parks. It's awesome.

Lol, but it does make for great pics :goodvibes

:lmao:

Last night I finally renewed our AP's. I am not a happy camper. :mad: The CM that I got, "Maxwell," was less than helpful. First, he said that I could not get the renewal discount. Said he "never heard of it." So I sent him off to ask his supervisor. Yep, I got the discount. THEN, I asked him if he would be taking the price of the one day pass from last year's ressie off of the renewal amount. He was clueless. Sent him back to his supervisor. He comes back and says that I can do that at the parks. :sad2: I then tell him for the past 2 years I have given my KTTW card number to the CM when renewing and they have taken off the amount (around $75 bucks) off of each renewal. Nope, he never heard of that. Sent him back to his supervisor. This time he comes back and says I can ONLY do it at the parks. So I ask him when the change was made. He said it never changed. I told him that it HAD to because I've been able to do it over the phone the last two years. :sad2: I told him that is why we book bounceback ... so that we can get the 1 day park pass taken off of our AP's the following year. He was totally clueless...

I can't wait to see what happens when I go to Guest Services to exchange the AP vouchers that they are sending me. Wonder if I will get my $150 back?

:headache::headache::headache:

I am still loving all of your pictures. Ahhh only 6 days left now! Thanks for single digit dancing with me. :woohoo:

What a douche, I would have asked to speak to the supervisor and stayed talking to the supervisor about the rest of the call.

I hope you get your $150 when you go and explain to them the service you received etc. Otherwise, maybe give them a call tomorrow and see if you can speak to a more helpful CM that knows what they are talking about.

Hi :wave2:

I haven't been on the DIS over the last few days. It's been interesting here to say the least.

Yesterday was my birthday. Check out my gift. :lovestruc

Gus004.jpg

It's a long story how he got here but the bottom line is, we're glad that he is here to stay. I've named him Gus.

Oh my gosh - Gus is so cute! But I'm partial to cats. We had a kitty named Gus when I was a little girl, and he only lived a few weeks.:sad1: Distemper, I think.

Sorry I've been neglecting my subscribed threads lately - things have gotten super busy around her. I didn't even get on my own PTR for 10 days! I've finally updated. I'm finding it harder to keep up now that spring is here. Plus, I've been having a lot of sub jobs lately. What have I missed?

:bday: Happy Belated Birthday!!! :bday:

Sorry I haven't said sooner, but have been away since Saturday and have only just got time to myself, not to mention reception was a nightmare where we were.

Gus is just too cute, what a lovely birthday surprise for you :goodvibes

Hope you had a fantastic day :hug:

I need to finish our last trip's album too. :upsidedow I am glad Jenn is doing much better. I will have to look for the dawn wipes around our home to see if I can find them. I am all for alphabetizing lists! :thumbsup2: I am right there with you in dork-hood. Thank you for the tips for MNSSHP. I am looking forward to the dates being released (figuring May 1st). Seems like they are following the same pattern as this past year's list of dates.

Our dates are definitely crossing--we will be arriving on Sept. 11th. :goodvibes: It would be great if we can arrange a meetup at somepoint.

TFS the MNSSHP pics. I am really looking forward to it--I sure hope the dates work out for us. The MK photos you posted too are just beautiful. They are getting me really excited for my trip!! :goodvibes

I sure hope you get your AP discounts when you show up in September--how frustrating. Is it possible to speak to someone at a different time of day to see if you can get the credit via the phone?

Happy Birthday, belatedly! Gus sure is a cute kitty! :)

Gus is a doll. We just love him! Sad to hear about your Gus. :sad2:

I've been having a hard time keeping up with my threads too. I hope to get back to the DIS to catch up this week!

Thanks for staying with me.

Jenn is doing great actually. I am so proud of her!

I wonder if they stopped making the Dawn wipes? I am going to check this weekend to see if I can still find them...even though I have a few left.

Glad to have the company!

I am waiting patiently for the tickets to go on sale. We just love MNSSHP!

I'd like that!

I am still waiting for the perfect shot of the headless horseman! :rolleyes1

I never get tired of taking pictures of MK.

I do too. I am so mad about that whole thing. I did get the vouchers in the mail the other day but still have not received a recept via email.

Happy Birthday, belatedly! Gus sure is a cute kitty! :)

Thanks. :hug:

We will have to see if we can arrange a time to meet once it gets closer and we know our plans. Our schedule is coming together and I think I am pretty set on which day we will be where. :thumbsup2

Sure! We September gals have to stick together!

I have been so behind in posting lately. :sad2:

I think we're pretty set on our park days now too. I hope that we have a day or two at the same park(s) so that we can meet. :wizard:

I just read an awesome Disney book called Mousejunkies. OMG, it was hilarious and informative at the same time. It is probably my favorite Disney book so far. It was in the travel section at the book store. If you have not read it, I really suggest it. I loved it!

So it looks like our friends will not be able to join us in Florida. :sad2: I am a bit sad but I do understand. My friend E was going to become ordained on line so that we could do our own vow renewal. They go to Hawaii for 2 weeks in October and the two trips would just be too close together. I'm sort of bummed..........:sad1:

I'm super curious to talk to my niece. She was at Disney last week with her high school marching band. They marched in Spectro on Saturday night. :thumbsup2

They had an awesome itinerary and did quite a bit. They took a bus down there and stayed off property. Some of the things that they were able to do:

* went to Typhoon Lagoon
* went to DHS -- got to see Fantasmic
* went to Epcot
* saw Blue Man Group
* went to IOA/US
* went to MK and marched in Spectro

They left last Monday and came home today so they seemed to get a lot in considering they went by bus and it takes about 24 hours to get there.

I can't wait to hear all about it. I never saw a band march in Spectro. Has anyone seen that before?

Sorry to hear about your friends not being able to make it, I know you were looking forward to renewing your vows. Maybe you could do it at home so you guys can celebrate with the family too :)

How cool that your niece was in Spectro, she must have some great pics for memories :) Hope you guys have fun catching up :goodvibes

I feel bad that they can't make it. :sad1: We haven't talked about doing it here at home but that's a good idea as well.

I've not seen any photos yet but I hope to be able to see some soon. They were the largest band there with 255 members.

I called Disney today with the purpose of asking three questions. Granted, I had an idea of what the answers were, but I wanted to see what I'd hear when I called:

1. When will tickets go on sale for MNSSHP. Response: Dates have not yet been annouced. Once they are annouced we will know when tickets go on sale. Hmm, interesting......it's not like we can't sort of figure out the dates based on the park closing times in Sept/Oct. We have always been able to get tickets to our desired date. I wonder if there will be AP discounts available for that date?

2. How far in advance can I pre-order my Photopass CD? you may think that this was an odd question since you can really order it just about any time for $149.95. I asked it just that way. Response: You can't. Me: Excuse me? Response: The marketing department may or may not send out an email to you. Me: are you sure about that? Response: well, you order it when you get back home. Me: Well, what I am really asking is how far in advance may I pre-pay for the photopass cd? Response: you can't. Me: ok, well my next question is............

3. How far in advance can I schedule a photo pass session at the Wilderness Lodge? Response: 30 days.

My question for everyone is: Has it always been 30 days out? For some reason I thought that I scheduled my last two sessions 90 days out? I can't remember. Anyone know?

So this is how I spent part of my lunch hour. I was also transferred three times just trying to get the answer for the photopass question. I don't know why I asked the question when I could have just gone on line to see that I can order now for $149.95. I know though if you follow Photopass on Twitter they sometimes will give you discount coupons that you can print that way. I am waiting to see if I can get the $99.99 deal again this year for the advance purchase.
