Well guess I am lucky as I have no dog in this fight. I can't eat either the fake or the real stuff. Both go through me like crap through a Christmas goose.

We found out they use the fake stuff when my corn allergic daughter was offered honey instead of syrup for her pancakes. Will definitely bring our own from now on. We typically take our own condiments to restaurants because of this issue, and we did take some of our own on the ship, but syrup wasn't one of them.
