Got right through at 9:00am!

It rang about 20 times after hitting 3-3 but was answered without going into hold. Got my first night for December - BWV Boardwalk view 1 BR!

LOL--I spaced out the time and didn't look at the clock until 9:10am... I had to hit the redial several times in order to get through and then I had a 3 minute wait.
But, I had no problem getting my targeted reservation in December.

Add me to the list of callers this am. Called at nine, number was busy - redial several times - then ring, ring, ring - thought I was looped into the wrong area. Hung up - redial several times - ring, ring, ring - this time time I got right in.

Now have 4 days, BW standard view 2br - calling back for three more this week. Whoo-hoo!

Me too, called right at 9 got right through but then it rang 15 times. I thought something was wrong hung up called back rang 20 times Hung up then it was busy for 3 minutes. Finally got through again and let it ring - it rang 28 times before I got an answer (which wasn't very long, just wondered why I was not put on hold)

At least now I know to just let it ring - don't hang up!!

I got right through at 9 this morning, too. Didn't count the rings, but it was only a few. Heard the "randomly selected for a survey" message and then got a CM almost immediately.

I've now finisheed my reservation - 6 nights in a Boardwalk view 2 bedroom. Have always chosen standard view rooms until this reservation. My Dh & I are going with my brother, SIL, and two nephews. The two boys love fireworks, so I'm really happy about securing the BW view. Would like to keep the BW view a surprise, but I don't know if I will be able to do it. It's such a long time to keep a secret! I'm ready to go today!!!!

Made 4 calls to secure the reservation - 12/31, New Year's Day and a weekend got in the way, LOL. Out of the 4 calls, I was "randomly selected" 3 times. But got great service every time from all 4 of the CMs, so I rated them a 5 (excellent) on everything tha applied.

Good luck to all who are still calling - here's hoping you get your first choice of rooms and dates as well as the excellent service we have come to expect from MS.

I called this morning right at 7:59 am and got right through and only two rings.....it caught me by surprise (happy surprise)

Anyway, I was able to make the necessary reservations for the individuals who are renting my points. Oh.....how much I miss not going to WDW this year.

I have a question for you that are making your dvc ressie. I'm new to dvc. Reading you posts it sounds like you are calling on a daily basis to make your ressie 1 day at a time instead of making the ressie 11 months to the day of your ckeck out day. If i'm reading this correct, does this make for seperate ressie's or does MS put it together as one. Hope I explained myself correctly. Susan

Sounds like others had the ring, ring, ring. Usually you get put right thru to the call queue. It must have been down this AM.

The first day I called, I told them that I would be calling day by day for a seven day ressie. They made a note of it on the ressie, and they will not send out the confirmation until the end. It will all be under one ressie number. MS knew what to do, so this must be a common event. They even have the checkout of the 8th in as a comment on my ressie, and the CM today commented on it.

And just so you know - the only reason why I'm calling day by day is because I want a standard view at the BW for the week after Thanksgiving. They are usually gone quickly - although, heh heh, I obviously just got the one that CarolMN would have had! I have never gotten a standard view before - we have switched sides of the resort.

the first two weeks of December - is very, very popular with DVC members - so if you want this time - it is best to do a day-by-day reservations - MS has no problem - they add your days to your reservations - then they send you a confirmation when you have all the days that you want. (you need to tell them up front that you are doing a day by day reservations - so they won't immediately send you a confirmation)

by next month you will probably only be able to get OKW for the first two weeks of December.

BWV - standards, and the new BW views are going fast. All of VWL - you should see it at this time (December) - very, very lovely

low points, low crowds at the theme parks, everything is decorated - resorts, all the parks, DD - you name it....., all the special shows that you can't see at any other time of the year - Candle light Procession, MVMCP, etc....

so if you want to go this year in Dec - go make your reservations NOW

I didn't call until 9:30 am and got right through. Started making the reservations for VWL. The CM said I was the first person making reservations for the VWL for this time.
