Thanks for coming over!!! Tell me all your favorite things about the WL -- I never get tired of reading about other people's experiences there!

Isn't it fun to hear? Ummm, my favorite thing was the location. I loved being close to MK and I love the FtW area! The rusticness, (is that a word?) reminds me of watching Disney on TV when I was growing up, dreaming of some day going there. I love the lobby and walking thru it every day! I love the pool area with the geyser going off every hour (i think it was every hour) in the background. I also love that you can watch the Electrical boat parade every night!

I love how your DD came home and decided she wanted to spend her 13th b-day at GF! If only I will be so lucky and have kids that love Disney.

Wasting time must be a theme tonight. Poor Marc is so sick with a cough and this morning he broke out in hives. I am under strict guidelines to wake him up at 9:30 to adminster more benadryl.

How easy was it to get to Fort Wilderness? Where did you watch the Electrical Boat Parade?

How is the debate going? I am afraid to watch it -- someone will make me mad, I am sure of it.

I have that thread bookmarked -- I love looking at all the photos -- the nighttime ones are my favorite.

I did. He is up watching a bit of the debate. Last night was his last night at work for the week and the poor guy was only able to sleep for an hour tonight. He is dragging. One of his eyes is swollen shut, I am quite concerned about him. He hardly ever gets sick.

Me too. Between the cough and now his breaking out in hives, he is just miserable.

It was very easy to get to Ft W! You can either take the boat or walk the trail. We did both. The trail is kinda behind the bike rental building near the Villas. It's about a 15 minute walk I think. The trail brings you in the Ft W area by the stables. Which are very cool if you haven't spent time there yet. They have a small little museum type area about the horses. I would not recommend the trail at night as there would be no lighting but it's very cool to see. If you haven't ate at Trails End yet, I would highly recommend that during your stay at WL! It's in the Ft W area. Its a very good ole home cooking buffet! Yum!

You can watch the parade from anywhere on the beach or boat docks. If I remember right the parade comes by around 9:35. I wanted to watch it every night if we were at the resort and my family was like, again? One time we caught it during the boat ride back to WL from Mk! A very pleasant surprise!

I saw over on the Lapuettes thread about his visit to the doctor -- I hope he is continuing to feel better!

The museum and horse stables sound very neat! Was the trail to Fort Wilderness pretty clearly marked with signs? I will defintely remember your recommendation for Trail's End. I am also wondering if we should try to see Hoop De Doo...

Yes! Erm.... it's 10:53 here....so it'll be 11:53 there.... Saturday.... we'll have finished with breakfast @ Cape May and finished up zipping around on some Sea Raycers, drive out to Character Outlet & did some shopping. On our way for some hokey-fun @ Gatorland!
