Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Spending my days
In the happiest of ways,
Chatting to my Disney friends
To whom I never owe amends
For dreaming of my vacation
With childlike anticipation.
Full of fun
For everyone,
I hope to see you there!

My choices were used before I could post, so I shall go with a rhyming poem in my pocket instead.

Hockey puck (going to root for Montreal in the playoffs)
Soccer ball: It was hot, but enjoyed watching my DGD play this afternoon.

I am greatful for a day when the speakers are THUMPING and BUMPING with Disney songs while the littles dance around WILLY NILLY and their dad is LOVEY DOVEY with them.

Great answers, Fla4Fun. My beloved late Grandma's first name began with D. Of course I am also so grateful to God to still get to go through life with my Dad.

Dad and I God-willing before the end of next year will finally take our Disneyland trip.

Happy Sunday Friends

#1 - NEW DAY - I’m always so grateful to wake up, so I can experience a brand new day.

#2 - DINGERS - I’m seeing a lot of softball memories right now on Facebook, and a lot of them are my DD’s HRs throughout her career. I never get tired of watching her hit those dingers, and I’m grateful that she had the talent to contribute to her teams with hitting those amazing HRs.

#3 - NEWS SHOWS - I enjoy watching the local and national news every morning and at dinner time. It’s on right now. The only time I don’t like watching it is when we are on vacation. I’m grateful to the journalists that work hard to give us the News every day.

Daughter- My DD32 is the light of my life and the joy in my heart. She was an unexpected surprise when I was 36 and we'd decided we were going to be DINKs. 100% the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Disney- SO many memories, too many to list, as I am sure you all know. DH and I leave 2 weeks from today for a whirlwind, blink-and-you'll-miss-me trip to Disney, squooshed in between the last week of classes, the beginning of summer school, and 2 dress rehearsals and 2 shows of Bangor Ballet's "The Wizard of Oz!" [I'm the production manager and am already eyebrow deep in last-minute panic, hahaha!]

Doughnuts- I love donuts, especially the Boston Creme filled ones, and french crullers, and maple frosted, and... the list is long. I never buy them, because to me there is no such thing as A donut... it is always donutS, and who needs that many calories?

Disneyland -- for all the happy times it has given me over the years
Daylight -- so we do not have to live in darkness
Dinners with my family
Dogs -- all the dogs that I have had over my years, and the ones I have now

Dawn... right now the Yuma temps are relaxing... but soon dawn will be the only time to breathe outside

Driving ...an alternative route (3 ways to reach home in our community once off side streets ). that follow along the flashflood canyon wall and the mountain range is beautiful view... and no traffic and wealthy mansions with valuable yard art

Dandelions..... give me hope... they are the domestic Lilly that Jesus referenced... though we do have the real Lily the disciples saw in our desert ... WLwildlife has a joyful photo of a field of dandelions... nothing I have ever seen before and for that grateful

Evening all,

My brain is drawing a bit of blank with rhyming things for yesterday! No doubt something will come to me when I no longer need them

1. Disney - of course I agree with those of you who have put this!

2. Dishwasher - I didn't have one until my kitchen was modernised a few years ago, and now I couldn't live without it.

3. Nail wraps - I am obsessed with these currently. They come in so many amazing shades and patterns and make my nails look fab for weeks at a time.
