Hey Jackie!!
I see that your whole family is very creative, it is not just you!
Have fun and know I think of you all often, just reading up....
You kids are beautiful and getting so big.
I amlistening to XMpops and something is on right now that belongs on Main St!
Lori
Hi, Lori!!! How wonderful to hear from you!!! How have you been? How are the girls?
Can you believe how much Chelsea and Connor have grown in the past year? It's craziness, I tell you!
What a great spring break update!
I also adore your tip cards. I've never done them. I think I may have to get crafty for this trip.
Thanks! They are very easy to make!
Connor's room looks great! As do those peanut butter cookies!!
LOVE the star wars eggs! Especially the fighter egg and the Han Solo egg. Han Solo =
Thanks! The cookies were very yummy!
Aren't the Han Solo and Tie Fighter eggs a scream? Connor and I were cracking ourselves up with them!
April in Paris. I'll say again... can I be adopted??

Your mom did such a nice job. And chicken salad on a croissant is one of my favorites. Chelsea looks very Parisian in her striped shirt and even Connor is getting into the fancy occasion dining with his pinky finger in the air!
Yes, we will gladly adopt you! I think that was Chelsea's idea of a Parisian outfit. Connor was so funny beforehand -- as we were headed over there he said, "I hope the food isn't too French. They eat things like slugs."

Snails, slugs -- it's all the same in the mind of a nine-year-old boy!
The storms I love not so much. Ugh. Sorry you had to deal with that! I'm glad you have family nearby who you can wait it out with and a basement you can go to!
I wasn't feeling the love of those storms either

. Hopefully my SIL doesn't get sick of me descending on her. Charles just stayed here, but I would have been scared out of my mind staying in our house since it doesn't have a basement.
Forgot to mention that the countdown calendar looks great. Six more weeks of school?! You're practically in the home stretch, my friend!!
Thanks! Yes, only six more weeks of school -- once our big testing week is over, we will really and truly be in the homestretch!
Sounds like a pretty good Spring Break. We only got Friday off here (but to be fair, we did get a week off in mid-March

). Those Star Wars eggs are cool. And Chelsea's egg is purdy.
Love the tip envelopes. Goodness, its getting so close to your trip!!!!! Doesn't making ADR's and a countdown make it seem so much closer?
Scary about the tornado warnings. Never been through one of those before and I have no wish to. The worst thing out here is a drought, which we've been going through for years now (actually, some weird wet stuff is falling from the sky today.

)
Have a wonderful Easter!
Thanks for all the compliments! The time before the trip is speeding by -- I have got to get my act together with trip preparations!
Count yourself lucky with never having to deal with tornadoes -- they are terrifying!
Happy Easter!
Looks like you've had a very nice spring break.
Great job with Connor's room. Doesn't it feel good to purge?
It felt so good to get rid of tons of stuff -- I need to make more of an effort to do it on a regular basis!
The Parisian luch looks so festive. I LOVE the hyacinths in the silver bucket. Hyacinths=Spring
Aren't those pretty? My mom outdid herself.
And Chelsea is making Madeline's very favorite "peace out" pose!

So cute!
Must be a pre-teen girl thing!
How do you use the tip cards? Do you clip the tip to the card or put both in an envelope? They and the calendar came out really well.
Thanks! The tip cards are just on cardstock so I figure we will leave it with the money at the table at the end of the meal.
Wow what a great week you guys had! I really like the Paris lunch, what a cute idea!
Sorry to hear about the nasty weather that came through your way. Glad that everythings still intact by you and everyone is alright and in one piece!
Thank you! We did have a great week, but it just flew by -- I can't believe it is almost over and we will be back to our normal school routine tomorrow!
We are very thankful nothing was damaged and that everyone was okay after the storms got finished beating up our county.
