Got PIN for registration but website won't let me!!!

Very frustrated. I recieved my PIN code so I could register and carefully entered all my info and made sure I used the case-sensitive code. All I am getting is thrown back to the registration page. No message saying I have an error somewhere. Just back to my already-filled out page.

What am I doing wrong???

Good idea DOc, but didn't work. MS was unable to help. Apparently, I am soooo special that their usual bag o'tricks didn't work and I am being sent to their IT dept for further study (may take up to 5 business days )

wow last year when we had a problem logging on, they were able to transfer me to an it person right away.

Maybe try calline back, and see if they can transfer you right away. Of course disney is always improving things, so sometimes things take longer.

I've cleared my temp. internet files and cookies, and even tried registering through another less tempermental computer (I hate Vista), but nothing works.

This is interesting.. because I've been to the member site a few times over the last day and I can't even get a sign-in screen!

Do you already have a disney.com login? I had a problem setting up my DVC account because I already have a disney.com account and the way the registration is set up, it tries to register you for that, too. I got all sorts of error messages (wrong password - which was strange because I hadn't signed up yet, but it was comparing to my disney.com password; email address already in use, etc.) but then finally figured out what was going on.

I had a problem setting up my DVC account because I already have a disney.com account and the way the registration is set up, it tries to register you for that, too. I also had to make sure that I was logged out of the *regular* disney sites. once I did that, I was able to continue with my dvc member page sign up.

When I first registered for DVC I could not get on for the longest time... I finally spoke to someone in IT ... the problem was that I was logged into another disney site... specifically the Disney Cruiseline site.... the IT guy was nice enough to "help" me. He forced the logoff on the cruise line (I think I was "logged" in for about a year)... for some reason they dont bounce you off after a period of inactivity.

Let IT try fixing it from that angle. Hope this is helpful

I just registered last night and it took me a few minutes to figure out what exactly to do.

On the first dvcmembers.com page I tried entering my club ID and the activation code right away which was wrong. I then followed the link where it said about being new to the site or whatever. From there I filled out the form. It asked for the number that came in my DVC docs folder (not my membership number) and the activation code that came in the mail. In my dvc docs folder there was a sheet in the left hand pocket that had my name and a number under it.

When I entered my usual user name it wouldn't allow it, because I too have it for my other disney stuff. So I made a variation of it and added DVC to the end and it finally all worked.

Keep trying! You'll get it!

Thanks guys, I finally got logged on, but the funny thing is I can't tell which of Disney's many websites I am currently logged onto. I do have a Disneyworld.com account that said I was not currently logged in when I was trying yesterday. Then I logged in today and immediately logged out and tried to log in at the memeber site and it allowed me to link my membership number.
