Got PIN, Does this quote sound right?

I got my first PIN in the mail: 30% off Moderate or 40% off Deluxe.
I called the number and got some quotes to compare to those I had gotten on Disney.com. I am not sure if it sounds right. I hear people getting so excited about the discounts and to be honest if this is right, I'm not sure I agree. Please tell me if this sounds about right to you or if I need to call back or go about it completely differently. I realize the AKL quotes are quite different considering 40% off, but not sure the 30% discount at POFQ works out.

How many nights are your quotes for and what days are they for? I.E. different times of the year have different room rates as do weekends vs. weekdays.

The dates are October 12-16th. It's a Tuesday thru Saturday. There are 2 people going and I included 4 day Park Hopper passes.

Remember the pin discount is only for the room. You will still pay full price for the dining plan as well as park tix.

No, those rates dont' sound right.

Presuming a rough prediscount rate of 149 a night at POFQ, 4 nights would be 600 ... which would mean that you should see a savings of $180. And that would be the case regardless of adding tickets or meal plan. The room discount should STILL be at least 150 to 160$ and probably closer to 180$.

So my first guess is that the phone quotes included 'travel insurance' which they include by default - you have to specifically ask for that to be removed.

It's misleading and wrong that they do that.. but they do. And that's probably why you're only seeing a savings of $100 vs $180.

Same is probably true on your AKL quotes. The phone quotes probably include vacation insurance which is roughly $100 (give or take)

I am so excited can ya'll tell. Here are the prices I was quoted with my 20/30/40 pin I received in my email last night.

All quotes include 7 days w/pk tckts (no hopper or water) and QSDP

ASMU standard --- $2488.20
suite -------$3502.16

CBR standard -----$2751.52
pirate room---$2916.76

I told the CM no ins so this is what I got. Hope it'll help.
