also we'll be getting free photopasses for the pictures they take of us during the parade - so cool!
!!! My family got to experience this back in 2010. It was a similar way we got asked. We were in line for Goofy in DinoLand. We came down with friends and I made us special pins with Up characters. We're all passholders and had been talking earlier in the morning about how none of us had ever stayed at Animal Kingdom until late enough to see the parade. Around 11:30 we were in line to see Dug and get photos/autographs. He was so excited about our pins (especially the one that looked like him!) we probably spent 5 full minutes with him. As we got out of line, one of his handlers stopped us and told us to "hang around the area for 10 min" because Russell would be coming soon. We were thinking he'd maybe let us line jump or something for the 2nd autograph. We went into a shop for 5-10min then back over the greeting area and the handler was gone. So we just got in line for Russell anyways. When we got finished (at about noon), he was back and pulled us aside to ask if we were staying for the parade. I immediately said "yes" even though we'd agreed while in line that we were out of things to do and would prefer to head to MK. Thank you, thank you, thank you disboards for clueing me in. I knew as soon as he asked that it must be for the parade! My friends were a tad confused and I think my husband thought they were calling security on us when the radio call went out for a manager to come over. He was there in a minute and took down all our info, showed us where and when to meet him. And warned us that we'd better be on timealso we'll be getting free photopasses for the pictures they take of us during the parade - so cool!

How many were in your group that got to participate? My daughter and I have APs but I don't think they ever choose a group of two. From what I have witnessed it is usually a family of 4-5.
Is it possible to link photos to here from Facebook? Or only if I have a photo account like Flickr?
