Got my Visa today!!

Just in time for our weekend in Lancaster

It does say Disney Vacation Club and Member Since Day 1. They did only send out 1 card and when I applied I requested a card for DH, I called and they said his will be out in about a week or so.

Anyone else get theirs today??

We also got ours today -- ours says CHARTER CARDMEMBER under our name. Also had to call asking where the 'other' card was & was also told that it would be sent 5 - 7 days after the first one. Wonder why they aren't sent together - seems like a waste of postage!! It will be interesting to see how this actually works with getting discounts - we use our Disney Club card a lot.

I applied on line and received a letter requesting proof of address, copy of social security card and profe of home phone number, any one else receive this. This is the first credit card company that has ever asked for any of this.

I tried to apply online, but it didn't like some of my answers so I did it by phone. Mine came today, too.

Got mine today as well. I applied online as soon as I recieved the e-mail announcing its availability. Was wondering too about DW card. I will be looking for it to come later.

I have never been scammed, and don't personally know of anyone who has. But that sounds VERY strange. Be extra cautious with that one. I would call someone with the disney card (and not a phone number that may have been included with that email, but one from the real site).

Might be nothing, but be careful.

Yes, when I applied for another credit card, also Bank One, a few months ago, they asked me for this info too, or similar info at any rate. They also asked my fiancé for similar info too. We thought it was because we had just moved to this address and had no personal info listed under it yet. But we're not totally sure. We ended up not giving them the info since we heard about the Disney Visa soon after and figured we'd just wiat for that. When we applied for this, they approved him beacuse they called to tell him and that his whole name wouldn't fit on the card so they had to ask to shorten it. So I guess they didnt' need proof of address this time, which we attributed to having lived her longer now.

We got one of our cards on Sat. We called to find out why the other one didn't come, and were told we would get the other card in a week or so.

No card here, but I called the 800 number someone listed - approved and should get it within 10 business days - I hope it's Monday too though.

We applied about three days after we got the email indicating that we could apply online. No card yet. I will be excited for the mail everyday this coming week.

The DISNEY CLUB CARD ends in December 2003... not the credit card. No word as to whether this will continue. They are still taking applications for it online, but the forms in the store have been replaced with the Disney Bank One Visa.
