I do not believe so. I would transfer the balance and then close the Disney Credit Card. They might do away with it but I did not think it was going to be automatic switch over. Has anyone else heard anything differently?

We just called the 800# and it said that the application is under review and that a letter would be sent within 7 days of their decision. I hope this doesn't mean we arn't getting the card. My grandfather and I have the Disney Credit Card now and he has perfect credit.

Also~ does anyone know if they are canceling the Disney Credit Card because of this new one? I just tried to get on the web site to check out our acct. and it sent me to the new cards web site to apply for the new card.

I got one of our cards yesterday, also. I called to see why only one came and the man said there was a "glitch" in the computer and anyone who requested 2 cards would receive the other in a few more days.

momof2OH and honeymo78.. I have been getting the "your application is under review" message for a week now. It is really annoying. I finally called and talked to a live person and didn't get much more information. They basically told me that my application is in the process of being processed. I did ask if that was some credit card speak for denied and she told me "no, she would tell me if I were denied". So, I guess we will just have to wait and see. I did ask on another thread that if anyone who was getting a "under review" message now gets an approved message or a card in the mail, please post so we know what is going on.

I am glad to hear that others who applied are starting to get there cards in the mail. I am holding off on making my reservations (and other purchases), so I can use my card and get points. Hope mine comes soon.

Call 877 252 6576 it asks you to press one for the application process or 2 to check on the status of the application, then you key in your soc sec # and you will find out if it has been approved under review etc

I got my card in but thats all I got, Just it and a few papers.

I applied the second I got the e-mail, I just called and my application is "under review". There is no way I'll get turned down, but I'd like to have the card before our vacation and we leave March 21st!
