No code. I was so upset esp since so many here said they ordered the DVD and got a 20% off offer. Even my DH was excited when he saw the envelope, hoping for a code too. We've both been calling too hoping for some discount. So I don;'t think we will be staying onsite this year. I am going to exchange our timeshare week and stay at a Mariott. I'll see hoe long I can hold off booking it though, we're gong in November so some sort of offer should come out- right??

Anyway the Disney magic isn't working for us. :(

Join the club. If it wasn't for bad luck, I would have no luck at all. That is why I have AAA and am an AP Holder. Not having a discount won't discourage me from going or stying on property, there is just no other way to go.

Actually my dvd code didn't come with the dvd. It came via email before I received my dvd. It said

We're so excited to hear you're thinking about taking another amazing Walt Disney World® vacation! And you'll be excited to know that the Disney Parks DVD you ordered is on the way. But until it arrives, use the included offer and information to get a head start on the fun - there's plenty of it!

Since you're interested in coming in October, here's a great offer we picked out for you and your family. It's the best way to open a whole world of Disney dreams and possibilities.

And then listed the discounts and codes information.

So be watching your email and snail mail for a postcard.

mine came via email too - basically same thing but exchange "another" for "first" stay at Disney. I got 30% off (not blackout dates). DVD will arrive soon...

Unfortunately, we're locked into 5/1-5/6 so the 30% PIN code is worthless.

I got the 20% pin code in the mailer prior to the DVD. Not sure if well use it yet or not since were hoping for free dining this year. On the plus side, even though it is very similar, the 2008 DVD is much more watchable than the 07 version. Still not as good as 06, but an improved edited version over 07.

I just booked yesterday for 8/17-8/27 POFQ and got 20% off with AAA. Saved
$336.00. Thank You AAA

Re: the codes sent out prior to the arrival of the DVD...I'm wondering if which month you check when the form asks when you prefer to travel to WDW has anything to do with the amount of % off you get?

I was wondering the same thing. I put "August" and I just got the DVD yesterday so clearly no code for that month!
About a week ago I ordered another DVD (bad I know!) under my husbands login and selected "September" so we'll see what happens with that. :)

I'm really itchin' for a 40% off code though. I have a feeling the hubby will say no to a trip if it's anything less. :(

My DVD came about 2 weeks ago and I got a postcard in the mail today with a 40% code. Since we are planning on Pop Century and only half of our trip falls within the dates, it only saves us 200$...but thats better than nothing.

I think I will order a DVD in DH's name and see what happens. I want to take him in August for his birthday so a discount might seal that deal.

I have so many trips booked in my name already, maybe that is the reason I don't get a code. They figure I am coming anyway, why give me a discount.

We actually received our postcard w/ pin number in the mail a couple of days AFTER we received our DVD, so don't give up hope!

my mother in law lives with us and usually vacations with us to wdw. she recieved a 40% off code in the mail last week. can i use it if its for the same household and address ? :confused3

From what I understand is if it has your address on it you can use it. Someone may have moved etc... this may no longer be true but it doesn't hurt to call!

From what I have read on here, that is NOT true. The person that is listed on there has to book the reservation. But since she liveswith you that should be no problem, just let her book it, your name will be on the reservation, too.

Exactly, I just can't seem to ever get a pin code attached to my name or receive a postcard in the mail. If it wasn't for AP and AAA, I would never get a discount.
