Got My Mobile Stolen Today & Thats Not All!!

After work today I popped into the local Supermarket. Came home and realised my mobile was not in my bag
I was just about to ring my mobile incase I left it at work when my home number rang.
On the Caller ID my mobile number came up....I answered and a man started laughng down the phone and telling me I should be careful when walking around the supermarket and he had stolen my phone from my bag!!...he also told me he had looked through all my photos and videos and said my kids were ugly (nearly all the photos are of my ds's).
I am in total shock!!..this was about 45 mins I have rang DH at work as he is an accountant for the mobile phone company and he is going to see what he can do!!

He has just rang again!!!!!!
Told me that he could tell I was a rich b***h as I have had loads of holidays abroad and that I deserved getting it nicked!!

I have just racked my brains but am pretty sure there is nothing on the phone that gives any personnal details like address' etc although there is one text moaning about another of our teachers at school that I had sent earlier to my friend!!

Just spoke to DH he wont barr the phone yet as he has put a trace on it so maybe we can trace its whereabouts he is at work till 8pm. He has told me to answer the phone though if it rings as it will help the trace and not to tell him its being traced...My friend is on her way over as she is braver than me and will answer it!!

Will give you an update later!!

There are some unhinged people in this world that's for sure and, as I've learned, you never know when, where or how they're going to pop into your life. It's horribly unsettling when you feel your privacy is being violated and I can only imagine how vulnerable you must be feeling. I do hope this guy is traced and I really do think you should also put a call into the Police.

As terrible as that is, you really are lucky he didn't grab your wallet or just take the whole purse. I never leave my purse in the buggy, it's always on my shoulder. I saw a woman in a store one time - someone just ran by her buggy and grabbed her whole purse. I walked by a buggy in Target the other day and heard a phone ringing - there was a purse sitting in the buggy and no one anywhere near it. Some people are just too trusting I guess!
