Got my LGMHs! Now I just need...

Got 6 new paint swatches the other day, but now I need some tips to laminate and hang these things. Anyone want to give a lesson (free, preferably) on how you make and display your LGMH?

I left mine on the rectangle. I copied my avatar from here, and some Dis logo. I glued them on my card. Then I laminated it and punched a hole in it, so I could hang it from my backpack.

Soak it in water for a few minutes and the LGMH will peel right off. Then I put mine inbetween 2 paper towels and under something heavy so they would dry fairly flat. I took 2 LGMH and glued them back to back, and then I used small pieces of sticky laminate paper (my dad had some) and put them over each side. Finally I trimmed the laminate paper, punched a hole with a hole punch, and zip-tied it to my back pack.

They are talking about the Lime Green Mickey Heads you get from Home Depot (paint display). It's the universal symbol for a disboarder.

I peel mine off (with out water) and then put them back to back. I usually write my dis name on both sides. For quick lamination you can use clear mailing tape. It's not 100% percent water proof but I've found that the peel and stick laminating things aren't either. Then I punch a hole in the top and hang it from things. Sometimes it's on my purse, stroller (if we have one), etc. In a pinch I'll use one of my DD's pony tail holders and a safety pin to hang off my messenger bags zipper.

What the heck are you talking about??

They are used to identify other DISers at DLR and WDW. Since the forum was growing so large, we wanted a way to pick each other out at the parks. They can be homemade from scratch or most times out of the alien green paint swatches in the Home Depot paint section.

Does anyone else have any tips for printing their name on the head?

I cut out the Mickey heads from the swatch, that way the entire piece was thicker. I cut 2 Mickey heads out, and wrote my DISboards name on both sides. I put 2 Mickey heads together and punched a hole through them.

I took 2 pieces of clear packing tape and placed one of the Mickey heads face down on them. I then placed the other Mickey head on top of that one, and taped again. And then punched the hole out where I had already punched, through the tape this time.

I used the idea another DISboarder had and used pony beads to accent my Mickey head.

I took 2 cable ties, some pony beads, and came up with this :
