Got my invitation to test MyMagic+ today!

It came by UPS for my trip in 2 1/2 weeks at AKV-Jambo. Before I registered I called the phone # because, since I won't have park passes, I don't see myself using it for anything other than my room key. He said it was OK(?) so I registered and am getting a cute red bracelet for my upcoming WDW trip.

We arrive Sept 7th, and last night I decided to go ahead and check in online, and now I'm wondering if we'll get to have Magic Bands and try FP+? I have friends who are staying at AKL also, who are saying they are getting to, but so far I haven't gotten an email or anything. Did they email you to let you know?

Have you gone to the Disney website and checked if you already have the magicbands in your accounts?
I hadn't receive any invitation, but logging in I've seen the band there and was able to customize it. I could not book any FP+ yet, because there is an issue with Will Call tickets purchased on the Disney UK website.

I'll arrive at AKV the 7th as you.

Congrats!! I've been logging on the WDW site almost everyday in hopes of getting the Magic Bands. We haven't received any info and we arrive on Sept 12 at BWV. I got all excited because I just got a letter in the mail yesterday and it was Disney telling me I wouldn't have a fridge . I was all excited and then let down lol.

Is there a window that pops up when you log on saying you were selected? I have gone to where it says Magic Bands, but I never shows me anything other then that I have an annual pass.

For anyone staying in September, the testing resorts have already been discussed.

They are:

POP
POR
AOA
POLY
CONTEMPORARY
BEACH CLUB (DVC AND NON DVC)
AKL-JAMBO (DVC AND NON DVC)
YC

At this time I don't think any other resort has been selected for testing. October may bring even more resorts as it seems to me that the MB is more of a SLOW roll out.

Disney just seems to be increasing the test resorts each month and probably will continue until all resorts are able to do the MB.

Does anyone know if dvc "renters" are getting invites to mb/fp+ (ie, people who borrow dvc points), or if invites are only going to actual "owners" with reservations (or are owners getting invites for their renters' reservations)?

From other posters it seems ANYONE that is staying at selected DVC resorts are able to get MBs. Renters are also posting getting the bands at AKL Jambo and BCV.

Well I've looked and haven't seen anything. Since we're Kidani though, I'm guessing we aren't able to participate.

Yes! There is a window for FP+ but it says "The selected date must be within at least one party member's FastPass+ selection window" so does this mean we aren't in our window yet?? Or since we don't have Bands we can't use FP+ at all?

Log in the Disney website, click on the MyMagic Experience button in the upper right corner. A menu will open. The last option should be "Magic Band" or similar, I cannot check it now.
If you click it you should see if you have the Magic Band. Then there is a button "Customize".

Does Contemporary include BLT? My guess is no, but I didn't think it'd hurt to ask

So I went out to the website on a whim. I linked my will call AP's and assigned them to the family. I then just went back in and I can now select FP+ times for our stay in October.

I have NOT gotten an invitation to test - any bets I'm hosing myself...

I'm so glad to hear this! I was holding off on buying our AP's because I didn't know if the will call number would allow me to do FP+!

Are you able to select a color for the MagicBands? I just logged on and I can customize bands for our 10/3 check-in at AKV Jambo House, but the only color displayed to select is Grey.

ETA: Someone on the Theme Park boards call Disney and they are still in the process of loading all the Oct reservations for MyMagic+. Color options should be available to select soon.

Kidani is not included in the test.

ALV Jambo House Oct 20-25 (trying the grand villa), got to select my FP+ today ! No MB yet though.
