Got my invitation to test MyMagic+ today!

Are you able to select a color for the MagicBands? I just logged on and I can customize bands for our 10/3 check-in at AKV Jambo House, but the only color displayed to select is Grey.

ETA: Someone on the Theme Park boards call Disney and they are still in the process of loading all the Oct reservations for MyMagic+. Color options should be available to select soon.

I have the same problem. I logged in to my disney experience today and the page came up that I can choose fast passes and customize my bands. I can change the name on the bands, but grey is the only color I can choose.

ALV Jambo House Oct 20-25 (trying the grand villa), got to select my FP+ today ! No MB yet though.

Try doing online check-in and then log out and log back in. I did that and they came up.

One followup question re dvc renters getting mb/fp+. - I thought the reservation was not in renter's name until just a few days before trip, or is it always in the renter's name, just not his/her control? Are the renters getting the mb just at checkin desk, or sometime earlier ? THANKS

It should be in the renter's name from the beginning. Any changes must be made by the member.

As long as the reservation is linked to MDE, you would be able to customize the MagicBands and they will be shipped to US addresses only. If you customize less than 10 days from arrival, they will be waiting at the resort (if within 5 days, no customization and resort pickup).

I can now customize the bands.

EDIT: I can only choose Gray. It also states I only have 16 more days to customize them (that seems a bit early as we don't check in till October 9th).

I have tried and tried but can't get MB or FP+. My trip is Oct 15-18 and we are staying in BLT (I guess that's not part of the Contemp that is included in the test). I linked our PAPs and did online check in (and re-did it to see if that would do it). I guess we aren't part of the test.

Those here with Oct arrivals that could only select gray, check again. I was finally able to select colors for our MagicBands.

I have mine set to Orange (may change it to Blue again). My partner went with Red. We have until 9/2 to change them.

What are the bands made of? My DD has a latex allergy, thanks for any info.

I was able to order/customize band for our upcoming trip in 2 weeks. Its a split stay between BWV and AKV Jambo. It was only available for the AKV portion. I ordered the bands last Sat. , got email they were shipped on Monday and they were delivered on Tuesday. Yesterday the UPS letter came. I was way ahead of them, lol.
I am now having issues trying to schedule FP+ because it thinks my AP that I purchased in April is expired. The tech people are working on it, but not fixed yet. Hope they get it working right before we arrive.
