Got my Destination D and Scavenger Hunt ticket!!

I agree that it could be the cost. It's very pricey. I'm a little sorry they are trying to recruit more - I like the idea of a smaller crowd.

Too pricey for us too. I am also doing this alone.
My DH will even be in WDW at the time, but he interested enough in all of it to drop $175 for it. We just saw a number of the Legends on PCC2.0 and last year's Disapalooza. (Thanks DIS!!)
So, he's just going to hang out during the weekend and help my son move.

If it was cheaper, I'd buy him (and my son) tickets so they at least could see Richard Sherman in concert.

I feel the same way....fearing a repeat of the DIS events. I am really interested in the Sherman concert though.

Maybe they should have had a separate ticket for each day. And if you wanted to go for both there would be a small discount. I'm looking forward to both days I find the history of the park interesting. Cant wait to see stuff from the Disney archives, since I don't know when I'll ever go to California.

I attended the event in California last September and was very impressed. As I am interested in Disney History I feel this one should be very interesting.

At this time, if they decide to have one day tickets, they would have to be $95 or so per day so that those of us who registered at the $175 would alreadyt havce our discount.

At lest one good thing where they have improved their procedures. When they did their update with the detailed information last month they published the timetable. I was able to make lunch and dinner reservations immediately. For the California event we did not know the actual timetable, and the time and length of the breaks, until a week out.

I'm going to both the scavenger hunt and Destination D. My first D23 events as well!
I don't have park tickets for the Destination D days. I know there are a couple of hours for meals, but I didn't think about making reservations since I'll be there alone. Hmmm... wondering what I should do now.

I am not making reservations either, but that is just my personal preference.

If all else fails, D23 has confirmed that there will be food available nearby. From their Facebook page:

Hi Leonard! Yes, there will be satellite stations with food for sale similar to what was offered at Destination D at Disneyland. Thanks!
