Got my date--now what?

I finally decided to plan our WDW trip for November 2003 (YAY!). I definitely want to stay at the Contemporary and I definitely want 5 day hopper passes--not a package. I'm not sure how to proceed now.

I have a "courtesy hold" via Dreams Unlimited. They say that the Standard Wing Garden rooms are not available and booked one with a view--for $307. I obviously would like a better rate than that. I am a Disney Club member. I wouldn't mind taking advantage of a fall code if they are offered, but I don't want to wait too long and lose the room availability.

What should I do? Thank you very much.

DU will check and correct the rate if codes come out. I used them in Dec, they found me a room when no one else could. If you are a DC member, but your tickets on line ahead of going, you get a discont that isn't available at the gate (at least that's what I think I read.) I would never want to stay in a garden wing at the CR, I got spoiled in the tower with a view of MK, but lots of others love the wings.
