Can't help sharing with you all my happiness: Just got MCO Hyatt at $ 38.

First bid at $ 30, rejected;
raised to $ 35, rejected again;
then put $ 38, telling myself that that's it.

Then we got MCO Hyatt!

What is your date? what star level did you bid? TIA:jester:

edited to thank Little Star for info,,,,have a great trip!!!

Do you think if I put in $38 and 3 stars that I'll get MCOHyatt also? That's the only hotel I want so I'm nervous. Are there other 3 star MCO hotels that Priceline deals with?

Jena...if you got to www.biddingfortravel.com you will see there are several 3* hotels that come up regularly...if the HYATT is the ONLY one you want, and you wouldn't be happy anywhere else, then book the Hyatt directly.

Thanks so much for the scoop! Unfortunately, it seems I only have about a 1 in 6 chance of getting the Hyatt. Not being much of a gambler, I guess I'm going to have to pay the full $169 rate :( !

wow, that is a terrific price. When we stayed there, i think i paid $99. That is great. Now you have even more money to spend on your vacation rather than a hotel!

Jena Finn, I'm with you. I would love to get the Hyatt for $38 but it's not worth the risk for me. I absolutely LOVE the Hyatt and it works out best for kids with the different places to eat, shop, etc. Plus, we always have to get a runway view so we can all watch the planes! I paid the $179 rate for our March trip.

I recently tried to get the Hyatt MCO on Priceline by bidding $38 for a 3* but got the Renaissance at the airport instead. The lowest available rate for the Hyatt was $169 which I thought was too much. Although I have stayed at the Hyatt MCO before my last two Disney Cruises for $99 and loved the convenience of the hotel, I've read the Renaissance is very nice and am happy to spend the dollar difference on the Disney Cruise! :teeth:

Only 5 more days before we set sail!!!

That is a great rate!!!
In all the times I've used Priceline, I've never gotten the Hyatt. It's been the Marriott countless times, plus three at the Renaissance and one at the Holiday Inn Select. Of course, I am a cheapie who usually bids $25 to $25. I paid around $34 or $36 once, and that was the time I got the Holiday Inn. Consider yourself very lucky, and enjoy those wonderful savings.

I was brave and used Priceline.com. I was hoping for the Hyatt but got Holiday Inn Select. Can anyone tell me about this hotel?

Thanks Barb. I must admit it's from you I got the courage to try that. I have read ALL your 35 reports.

Before we got Hyatt, I kept telling my friends who are going with us that we would most likely get Mariott. I never dreamed that it would be HYATT!

Thanks!
