Got half of what I wanted!

So we are going October 16-24 for our 10year anniversary. I had booked our home SSR at the 11month window for a 1bdrm. I called this morning to try to switch to BWV. I was able to switch the first 4 days and have to waitlist the last 4. If waitlist doesn't come through we will just do a split stay. I was really happy to get the first 4 days since that is when we plan on doing F&W . Kow just hoping for some pixie dust for my waitlist!

If your waitlist expires and you don't happen to get it, call everyday to check the availability. I did this once and was able to get my request the day before we left! So don't give up!

We were also booked at SSR & we're looking to get a 1-bdrm at BWV for that same week. I was able to get the nights of 10/16-10/19 too. We're waitlisted for 10/20 and I'm calling on 3/21 to hopefully book our last night and then we'll be hoping that the waitlist comes through for 10/20.

Thanks to the pp who suggested calling when the waitlist expires. I never thought of that!

So I got up at 5:55am this morning to call MS to put in my waitlist request for the 2nd half of my trip Oct 20-24. I was so excited I didn't need to waitlist they had it available in a preferred view!!! I had wanted standard just to save the points but I don't care at all I am just so excited to not have to switch resorts and be able to stay the whole time at BWV We will have to switch rooms but this wont be any trouble. I am so excited I tried to go back to sleep and I couldn't. Thank you pixie dust

Congrats!!! I forgot to call this morning. Our DD is sick so my mind was on getting her to the dr for a 9:00am appt (our pedi has weekend hours ). I'm calling tomorrow to try to get our last night and I'm hoping the 20th will be open then too. If not, I'll continue to waitlist it.

ETA - I just got the night of 10/21, but am still waitlisted for 10/20.
