After going to WDW last summer, I hadn't planned on going back this year. Then I got an email from Disney Destinations with a free dining promo code!!! I couldn't believe it. It's the first time I've ever gotten one even though I've heard of many people who have. Since we have school aged children, we have never been able to go during a time when they have free dining available for everyone.
So now we are booked and paid for a budget friendly trip in June with FREE DINING!
Talk about last minute for us. I usually spend the better part of the year researching and planning out our vacations.
We'll be staying at the Pop with the QSDP from June 7-11. And it only cost us $1581 for the entire thing! Unfortunately, that means we won't be staying at our much beloved Fort Wilderness like we always have. I'm kinda nervous about that, but I'm actually looking forward to not having to mess with renting a golf cart in order to get around.
I plan on driving down there on June 5, arriving very late that evening and checking into a very inexpensive hotel room to unwind for a couple of nights before heading to Disney. We'll be doing the same thing the night of the 11th so that we can make the most of our last day in the parks before driving back home the next day.
I am really excited about this trip!
