Got costume for MNSSHP & I look like a DORK!

Kimmielee -- what party are you attending? We're going to the 29th and my MIL ordered Mrs. Potts too! She got it to "hide my fat" as she says, but I think she's going to be concerned about the length. The good news is, there aren't any leg holes (meaning there is one big opening at the bottom), so you could wear white pants with it pretty easily.

Im thinking that the costume should be squishy so you should be able to go on rides and just kind of squish it down...LOL

I agree with the white pants idea, or white leggings in the sports section of any store (Fitness wear)

As far as getting it to WDW, what kind of package does it come in?
Maybe it comes already folded in a package, I know you would want to try it on, but maybe you can get it back into the package.

I saw a Mrs. Potts in line for Peter Pan on the 3rd.

Target has white leggings. I bought a pair for my Alice costume, but ended up wearing bobby socks instead. It was rater humid that night.

Glad to hear you wore your costume. Sounds like you had a good time. I can't wait to go. We now get to wear ours twice.

We got tickets to the 999 Happy Haunts Event and it says you can wear costumes for that, so we are considering wearing ours for that too.

Can't wait to see pics too.

WDWguru - we are going on the 29th too. Look for a SHORT Capt Jack Sparrow & his two ladies - that will be us. Will try and add a Green Mickey head somewhere so we will be recognized as Disers.

in a Mickey costume. My 5 year old daughter was Minnie and my wife, who was six months pregnant, wore red and black and ears and went as "pregnant mouse." I have to admit when we got on the bus to the park from the yacht club, i was the ONLY adult on two full buses who was dressed up and thought "uh-oh, I'm gonna be the fool tonight" but when we got to the park we had so much fun with it. My dd glowed to see her daddy as her "date" and when we went to meet Minnie in Toontown, Minnie kept trying to kiss me to make my daughter "jealous." It was worth all the embarrassment - including the bus ride back to the hotel.

Stacey, about the dress looking Amish - these pics are after it was hemmed about a foot and the frilly lace was taken off the collar. Now imagine it!

(Just in case somebody didn't realize it - Ally & Kory are dressed up as white trash! Kory had on a lovely mullet wig! Course, Ally still looked pretty good I thought to be a redneck?!?)

Ally, did you see the group dressed up as characters from Willy Wonka that night? They looked great!

I wasn't that great of a redneck. My outfit came from my closet (sad admission there) and if Kory wasn't with me with his mullet wig on, I just looked real-life trashy. I got lots of stares. Hmm, I guess my outfit worked then!

I never did get to see them, but Kory did. He said the outfits were great. Maybe someone got a picture of them.
